    Amendments and corrections to Old Testament 1: The Pentateuch notes distributed January-July 2026 only.

    The following amendments were made on 26/08/2026.

    • p14, Study 1, Section 3.1, final paragraph – Reworded sentences 3-5. See online version for new wording.
    • p15, Study 1, Section 3.4, third paragraph, sentence 3 – Deleted "or a commander".
    • p15, Study 1, Section 3.4, third paragraph, sentence 4 – Changed "have its own agency" to "act from its own powers and abilities".
    • p17, Study 1, Section 3.5, sixth paragraph (of the section), sentence 3 – Changed "And yet, to be male and female" to "And yet, the distinction between male and female"."
    • p21, Study 1, Section 4.3, first, second and third paragraphs – Reworded. See online version for new wording.
    • p22, Study 1, Section 4.3, fourth paragraph – Added the following to the end: "As we wait for Christ's return, the relationships we enjoy as members of his body, brothers and sisters together, provide opportunities for all of us, married or single, to complete our humanity by not being alone."
    • p26, Study 2, Section 2.1, first paragraph, final sentence – Changed "evil characteristic (Lady Wisdom has it in Proverbs 8:12)" to "negative judgement, it can describe wisdom (e.g., Proverbs 13:16, 14:8)"
    • pp26-27, Study 2, Section 2.1, second paragraph, sentences 2-4 – Reworded.  See online version for new wording.
    • p28, Study 2, Section 2.3, first paragraph, final sentence – Change "the man and the woman blame each other" to "the man and the woman play the blame game".
    • p28, Study 2, Section 2.3, first paragraph – Added the following to the end: "The Fall can be understood as a reversal of the basic pattern of the relationships outlined in Genesis 2. The animal world in the person of the serpent prevails upon the woman, who urges her husband to rebel against God with her."
    • p28, Study 2, Section 2.3, second paragraph, first sentence – Change "curses" to "judgements".
    • p28, Study 2, Section 2.3, second paragraph, final sentence – Change "corrupted" to "cursed".
